Breville AR – Ultra-Realistic AR Kitchen Appliances
Breville is a global brand reknown for beautifully designed kitchen appliances. Their appliance range is incredibly diverse and can be found in almost every popular department store around the world. INHAABIT partnered with them to create the popular Breville AR and Sage AR apps, which set a new benchmark for realism in kitchen appliances and AR product visualisation.
The Breville AR app is available for both iOS and Android. It allows customers to easily visualise Breville’s latest product range in Augmented Reality and quickly compare AR products next to each other, to find the perfect combination of styles. Breville’s high-end appliances such as the Luxe Collection’s toasters, kettles and espresso machines, are all available in size accurate, ultra-realistic quality. This creates an engaging and interactive online shopping experience, that increases purchase confidence and brand awareness.
Brand Awareness & Showcasing New Appliance Ranges
Breville have expanded the Breville AR product range to multiple regions around the world and increase brand awareness. This allows customers to see which appliances or styles are available in their country and tap through to the relevant country website to make a purchase. Breville have also added the unique Aboriginal Culinary Journey range, which allows customers to explore a limited edition selection of appliances, created in collaboration with indigenous designers.

Multiple Product Comparison & Increasing Customer Purchase Confidence
From espresso machines to food processors, one of the key requirements for INHAABIT was to showcase as much product detail as possible. Achieving this goal allows customers to experience the products as if they are physically in front of them. The abiity to visualise multiple products in AR, makes the shopping experience more valuable, allowing customers to realistically compare sizes, materials and purchase online with greater confidence.
“Breville’s product design team have created some of the most iconic appliances available. Our development team needed to create custom AR rendering and lighting technology to ensure we captured that essence”, explains Jason Yim, Director of Marketing at INHAABIT. “The ability to try a Barista Touch Impress on your benchtop, rotate it to see all of the features and pick the color that suits your kitchen, is how AR is changing retail.”
The Breville AR and Sage AR apps are available in multiple countries around the world and are seamlessly integrated with Breville’s websites. The ability to download an app allows customers and sales staff to have the appliance catalogue available at any time in ultra-realistic quality.
