Having supplied outdoor tables, benches and shade structures to over 25,000 locations worldwide, one of their core goals has been to create enjoyable outdoor spaces with well designed furniture. As an innovative company, Street Furniture Australia were seeking the best way to demonstrate the capabilities of their modular bench range, Build Aria.

The Challenge

Similar to many urban design companies, traditional brochures and product pages could not effectively demonstrate Aria’s flexibility. Being a modular outdoor bench, it features a range of attractive seating modules, arms, legs, base types and materials, Build Aria can be configured to fit in any outdoor space, shape or multi-product arrangement.

The Solution

Street Furniture Australia partnered with INHAABIT to launch a 3D Modular Product Configurator called Build Aria. The online configuration tool allows staff and customers to create fully customised Aria benches and visualise them in high-quality 3D. INHAABIT were selected based on their extensive experience creating ultra-realistic 3D Configurators and Augmented Reality solutions. Street Furniture Australia were looking for a specialist who could ensure Aria’s modular configurator accurately represented the real product.

A Powerful 3D Bench Configurator

Build Aria allows designers, architects and customers to intuitively drag & drop modules to build their ideal bench. The 3D configurator provides thousands of combinations of layouts, bench shapes and styles, making it the perfect solution for showcasing Aria’s flexibility.

Customers can get started by selecting from predefined Aria bench configurations and can modify these to suit their requirements. Using drag & drop, the top perspective provides a fast and easy way to create any design. Once the layout is completed, customers can tap a button to jump to a high quality 3D view of their Aria bench configuration. They can further customise features such as seat materials, armrests and leg types.
